Ambassador

Ambassador is a role within the Guild, where the person goes to countries to take care of Guild issues; for example the testing of young children for magic.

Spoilers from "The Novice"
In The Novice, Lord Errend is First Guild Ambassador to Elyne. Lord Dannyl decides to take the role of Second Guild Ambassador, and he later retires from this position some time after The High Lord.

Spoilers from "The Ambassador's Mission"
In The Ambassador's Mission, Dannyl becomes ambassador to Sachaka once the position is free.
