Lord Coren of Emarin, House Velan, was an architect who learnt how to shape stone with magic. He designed the University, and most of the Guild buildings, he loved to put spirals in his designs. When he was young he was restless and in disfavour for his excessive drinking and designing strange impractical buildings.
Note: In Lord Larkin's lesson, he refers to Coren as Loren, this may be just a simple spelling error. Coren is mentioned more than Loren.
