Danjin Spear is an advisor to the White who assists Auraya. Before his job as advisor, he worked at the Temple as a translator. Danjin is the youngest of the Spear brothers and is least liked by his family for turning away from trade. He is married to Silava and he has children and grandchildren, one of his daughters is called Tivela who has a girl. Danjin knows all the languages of Ithania except the languages of the Siyee and Elai.

As advisor to Auraya, Danjin helps her in most of her decisions. He encouraged her idea to get a Dreamweaver advisor too, despite not liking, nor respecting them. His main achievements include helping sort out the alliance with Somrey and telling Auraya to go to Si to negotiate an alliance with the sky people. When Auraya parted to Si, she gave her advisor a ring to communicate with her.
Danjin went to the War and participated in many of the War councils. There he met Lanren and the new Dreamweaver advisor to the White Raeli. He didn't fight in the War, but he was among the group that was attacked by the Pentadrian vorns. Raeli defended Lanren and him.

After the War ended, Danjin continued to be Auraya's advisor.

After Auraya leaves the White, Danjin becomes advisor to the new White Ellareen. He helped Ellareen discover more and capture the "True Circlians" and solving a Pentadrian invasion in a small village in Dunway, with Gillen's help. He met Mirar near Diamyane, where he asked the Dreamweaver to leave the Pentadrians and help the Circlian Army in the Circlian Invasion. Mirar refused and Danjin left. In the way back to the Circlian camp, he was attacked by a group of Elai, who wanted to kill him by sinking his boat and then drowning him, he was rescued by Ellareen.
