Fort

The Fort is a building which is carved into the mountains at the North Pass of Kyralia. It is used as a defensive purpose in case of attack from Sachaka. It was built after the Sachakan War.

Fergun is sent to the Fort as punishment for blackmailing Sonea and for kidnapping and imprisoning Cery.

The Ichani invaded via the Fort, they destroyed parts of it as they passed through and killed all the magicians present there.

Spoilers from "The Ambassador's Mission"
After the Ichani Invasion, the Fort was repaired and was improved in design in case of another attack from Sachaka. A plaque was erected, which lists all who died at the Fort during the Ichani Invasion twenty years previously. This plaque mentions Lord Fergun's name. This makes Dannyl laugh because Fergun was hiding from the Ichani instead of fighting them.
