Hakkin had openly mocked the Circle of Friends during one of the gatherings King Errik held at the Royal Palace. Dakon mentioned that Hakkin only made a few comments, but whenever he made them, they were always the sharpest. Finally, Hakkin joined the kyralian army, at the same time as Magician Genfel, Lord Tarrakin, Lord Moran and Lord Olleran. Dakon was surprised of his arrival, as Hakkin didn't approve the Circle of Friends. When Lord Sudin and his apprentice, Aken, sent a desperate help request, Hakkin admitted that he had encouraged Sudin to look for the sachakans alone. Hakkin also volunteered to look for the magician and his apprentice, in case they were still alive and needing assistance. What the group found were the corpses of the two men, their pieces scattered around, possibly after the sachakans tortured them. When the war was over, and kyralian were ruling Sachaka, Hakkin returned to Imardin with Jayan, to establish the Guild, a place for people to learn magic, and for magicians to share magical tricks. |
