Ichani are outcast magicians in Sachaka who have been banished to the wastelands. Emperor Vochira banished them for causing economic damage by thievery, killing other peoples slaves, and attacking and robbing magicians.
They have a strong distrust of each other, and battle among themselves, which makes it hard for one person to become a leader. Kariko is one who has some success.

Parika was killed by Sonea in the South Pass by stopping his heart. Rikacha was killed by Faren by the poison Sweet Bloodweed. Rashi was killed by the Guild. Vikara was killed by Cery and his helpers with sharpened poles. Akkarin killed Avala. The others were killed by both Akkarin and Sonea. When Sonea and Akkarin go to the city and fight a slave, we find out that she is an Ichani. She is killed by Sonea. |
