Naki is a popular and wealthy novice that appears in The Rogue who befriends Lilia. Rumours say she has had several relations with female servants working for her family.

Naki joins the Guild at the same time as Lilia, and they soon become friends. The other novices heard that Naki is attracted to girls, but Lilia ignores them and starts to visit her friend at home. There, Naki persuades the other girl to take roet and later declares her love for Lilia. After winning Lilia's confidence by beginning a relationship with her, they try to learn black magic from a book Naki found in her father's library. Although they doubted that it would work, both drain power from each other. Naki then kills her father using her new ability, and let the Guild magicians believe Lilia did it. Because of the roet, Lilia couldn't remember if she murdered him, but she allows Sonea to read her mind, as Kallen does with Naki. Naki actually decieves him by using and wearing a ring with a mind blocking stone, she shows Kallen only Lilia suceeding in drawing energy. She is then sentenced to live in Imardin without her magic for three years for the attempt of learning black magic. Naki was actually working for Skellin as aBlack Magician, and intended to kill Lilia when the opportunity came, but Sonea appeared, saved Lilia and took Naki to the Guild. Later Osen learned that the ring Naki used was probably a mind-blocking stone. After they took her ring, she was properly mind-read, she was found guilty for lots of crimes and was sentenced to death. Kallen was the one chosen to perform the execution, and he drained Naki of power.
