Reet is a Siyee who lives in the North River Tribe. He is Tyve's brother and they live with their mother in her bower.

Spoilers from "Last of the Wilds"

Reet and Tyve found the cave in which Mirar was living, and under the alias of Wilar taught them about the Gods of the past and present. They asked him for cures; and in return, they gave Mirar food and water. As the medicines Mirar sent to the Tribe were not sufficient to treat all the people there, Reet and Tyve asked Mirar if he could go to the Tribe and check the people. Reet offered himself as assistant after his brother became ill, but he caught the disease soon after. The both survived.
