The Traitors are a Sachakan resistance group made mostly of women, who oppose the regime of the monarch and Ashaki through subterfuge and a network of spies hidden throughout Sachaka. They aim to create a fair society in which women rule but men are treated more fairly than women in other opposite societies. However, only women can have a place of power, whereas in Kyralia, women can have a place of power in the Guild.

Free women joined with female slaves and escaped the unfair laws and customs of Sachaka; they escaped to a remote and hidden place, the Sanctuary, which is now a thriving city. The woman called themselves Traitors after a Sachakan Princess who was called a traitor and killed by her father to show their sympathy. Basic Information[]The Traitors don't follow the Sachakan King or the law and have a habit of interfering in Sachakan politics, through either assassination and manipulation. Thus most Sachakans consider them traitors to the country. They don't allow men to have high-ranking positions within their society. In Sachaka, women are not allowed to learn magic, unless the Ashaki decides to teach his wife or daughters, but all women Traitors are able to use higher magic and can create stones, knowledge that they stole from the Duna. These stones can be imprinted with a command, such as a forcestrike, which they do when pressed; these stones grow naturally in caves at Sanctuary and are harvested by the Traitors. Hierarchy[]As they do not allow men to take any high-ranking positions, all positions at the Table are filled by women. However, men are treated as equals to women and hold other important positions, such as Lord Lorkin who works for them as a healer. The Table Queen - The Queen is similar to the King in Kyralian society, they have complete control, but have a group of advisors. Director - The Director is like the Administrator, they handle the day-to-day affairs of the Sanctuary. The current Director is Riaya. Speakers - The Speakers are the second-highest rank within the Sanctuary. They sit on the Table. There are currently six speakers: Savara, Kalia, Yvala, Shaiya, Lanna and Halana. |
